Black Hero Nymph Special Edition:

With this special rod, Vision expands their popular Hero series with an explicit nymphing model. As a #3 in 10.6 ft., it is the ideal all-around model, offering maximum flexibility in various conditions and for different types of water. Vision has, of course, optimized the choice of components, their arrangement, and the rod action for its specific purpose. This rod is equipped with a slim Half Wells grip and a stylish down-locking reel seat, that balances the reel better, complemented by a small EVA fighting butt. Additionally, slim single-foot guides are placed at shorter intervals on the blank to prevent line or leader sag. This minimization of slack ensures better bite detection and a clean drift when nymphing. Just below the tip ring, a snake guide is placed to prevent the thin mono line from wrapping during the cast. The action is medium-fast, slightly more powerful in the lower section, with a soft, responsive tip that can accurately detect delicate bites on the delicate mono rig and present light nymphs precisely. And especially with this nymphing model, we appreciate the all-black design, allowing you to be a bit more discreet along creeks and rivers.

Did you know: At Vision, you can find a rating for the carbon used in each Vision graphite rod (here: 36). The higher the number, the higher the modulus of the carbon used in the respective rod. The rating is closely related to the tonnage of carbon in each rod.
