The Speed Combo fly rod from Traper is an absolute all-rounder for light to medium fishing in streams, rivers or lakes. The highlight of the rod: Two extension elements allow the blank to be assembled to four different lengths: 9 ft. - 9.6 ft. - 10 ft. and 10.6 ft. From small stream fishing to fishing on a large, wide river or lake, all light to medium duty applications are truly covered. The rod also copes very well with special nymph leaders thanks to its fine tip. One rod for everything and at a great price-performance ratio.
The universal, medium-fast action of the blank allows precise casts, allows little lateral vibration and copes well with a variety of different lines. Whether with fine dry flies, weighted nymphs on the strike indicator, with wet flies or small streamers in the swing, or even with a long euro nymph leader and weighted jigs - everything is covered with one rod. Perfect for beginners who want to experiment a bit or for the price-conscious all-rounder who does not want to carry a second rod on the water.
The rod is built with high quality Pacific Bay guides that barely add any weight to keep the blank light and zippy. Thanks to the great cigar handle made of high-quality Portuguese cork, the rod fits perfectly in the hand. Your fly reel is held wobble-free by the aluminum reel seat, which incorporates a beautiful tropical wood spacer.
