Technically and visually, these rods undoubtedly embody the character of Thomas & Thomas top models. This is hardly surprising, because the Zone rod series is also based on the proven StratoTherm resin technology of the unique Avantt and Exocett series. Also the Black Nickel reel seat, the change of the new Zone rods ensures that the series of Zone rods resembles the high-quality models of the Avantt or Contact. In addition, stylish windings in the iconic blue perfectly round out these rods built with high quality components.
The Thomas & Thomas Zone Euro Nymph single handed fly rod is the newest model in the Zone family and we are pleased to announce that T&T is now bringing another nymph rod to the market, in addition to the popular Contact II, and at an attractive price. The Zone Euro Nymph is 10.2 ft long and covers grayling and trout fishing in #2 and #3 perfect classes. Visually the Zone Euro Nynmph is hardly distinguishable from the Zone series, no wonder, materials and components are the same. Only the reel seat has been replaced with a down locking reel seat to better balance the rod and make modern nymph fishing with an outstretched arm easier. Thomas & Thomas itself describes the Zone rod series as a milestone in its own company history, as in the course of its development the manufacturing process was revised to offer the usual premium quality at an extremely attractive price. Much to the delight of numerous fly fishers worldwide, this has been achieved with flying colors. First and foremost, the excellent casting characteristics and the incredibly versatile performance of this fantastic rod series should be mentioned.
