The combination of low weight, extremely fast recovery speed and impressive power is made possible by Hardy's Sintrix NSX construction, which is combined here with a higher proportion of high-modulus carbon fibre. The innovative Rapid Taper Blank design maximises material performance and allows you to form accurate, tight loops even with the largest flies. The powerful butt section of the blank is designed to lift heavy sinking lines off the water, cast short-belly lines with an aggressive front taper and confidently direct feisty fish in the fight.

Other features of the Ultralite X Sintrix NSX series include modern titanium guides with ceramic inserts and lightweight snake rings. In the lower line classes the rods are equipped with a fine wooden spacer and half-wells handle, while in the higher classes a carbon fibre spacer and a full-wells handle with fighting butt are fitted. The Premium AAAA cork handle fits perfectly in the hand. The blank features a dark 'Red Metallic' finish. The high-quality reel seat with saltwater-resistant anodising also makes the Ultralite X a particularly good choice for Sea Trout anglers.
