The first special feature of this modern rod series is the length of the five models. At 8ft. 10inch (2.68 m), the Echo Prime is a tad shorter than most saltwater rods. The advantage of a shorter blank is speed, or the ability to move and load it faster. And especially when wade fishing on the flats or casting from a skiff, it often comes down to very quick reactions. Usually it is only a few seconds from "zero to hero" and in just one moment the chance of the trip can have swum by. But other details immediately catch the eye on the Echo Prime.
