ArcticSilver's latest highlight, the Switch-Flex-System (patent pending), offers top-tier flexibility. This innovative system allows you to swap fly rod blanks within the same handle in seconds. Whether you need to switch from a fine 3-weight rod for precise casts to a heavy 10-weight rod for battling larger fish, the Switch-Flex-System makes it possible with just a few simple movements. Those who already own one of the Switch-Flex handles can take advantage of Arctic Silver's more affordable blanks and easily mount them into the Switch-Flex-System.
Easy casting all day, with significantly reduced strain on your wrist and tendons, are just a few of the benefits of this innovative Switch-Flex grip system. The Switch Flex handle also harmonizes perfectly with Arctic Silver's new blanks, such as the brand-new ArcticSilver FJORD single-handed fly rod blank Fast-Action 4pc, designed for exceptional speed and precision with every cast. The Fjord series is made with advanced graphene-based blanks, which set new standards in performance. The FJORD blanks are designed for a fast action and feature a flex profile just under ½, meaning that about half of the blank bends under moderate load. This provides impressive recovery speeds, enabling efficient casting and extreme distance with minimal false casts. Despite the fast action, the FJORD blanks offer a remarkably smooth bend that allows for both powerful long casts and delicate presentations. The integration of graphene technology enhances the blank's responsiveness and durability, offering outstanding feel and control in every situation.
The new Fjord series from Arctic Silver stands for easy casting, distance, precision, and above all, a lot of fun!

Our test on adh-world!
„One Handle for Multiple Rods? The brand-new, innovative Switch-Flex System from Arctic Silver makes this possible! This absolute novelty in the fly fishing market builds on the proven and patented Free-Flex System and goes one step further: From now on, different rod blanks can be used in a single handle and quickly exchanged. The lower handle end can be adapted to the specific type of fishing in no time. Not only economical and environmentally friendly, in our opinion, but also a real advantage for flexibility when fly fishing or traveling! We tested the system right at its product launch and show you how it works in this video..“
First of all, the Norwegian manufacturer ArcticSilver is known for a truly innovative range of fly rods. All of these rods have one unique feature in common: the so-called Free-Flex-System including the Quick-Lock reel seat. This patented design allows the blank to swing inside the handle, which creates outstanding casting and fish fighting properties. In fact, ArcticSilver offers many different models that are suitable for a variety of different fly fishing disciplines – whether casting delicate dry flies for trout or massive streamers for large predators. In addition, ArcticSilver also presents a large selection of modern fly lines that have a very thin diameter due to their so-called Micro Diameter (MD) design. This design allows record-breaking casting distances thanks to minimum friction in the rod guides and hardly any air resistance. In fact, these advantages are not only noticeable in combination with an ArcticSilver fly rod, but also with rods from other manufacturers.
