The Zen Tenkara Line Holder is a wooden handmade line holder for the tenkara line. The holder can be attached to the cork or the assembled tenkara as desired and secures the line for the next use. The handmade line holder has a foam padding on both sides, which optimally protects the blank, or the cork of your tenkara rod. The holder is attached with a Velcro strap, which is long enough to attach it even to the thickest parts of the cork handle. The ends of the holder have rounded notches that securely clamp the line so it can't unwind on its own.
The Tenkara Line Holder is a great accessory for a tenkara rod, and its timeless look is truly ingenious. And by the way, the foam which serves as padding can also be ideally used as a fly patch.

Zen Tenkara was founded in 2012 by Karin Miller in Colorado out of fascination and passion for this traditional style of fishing. Zen revolutionizes this method of fixed line fly fishing and is known for creating a "fusion" of traditional fly fishing and tenkara fishing to catch not only small, traditional tenkara species, but also large, powerful fish not normally associated with this ancient Japanese method. Karin Miller, who remains at the helm of Zen Tenkara, has earned a reputation for being extremely innovative and pushing boundaries with her high-performance tenkara rods.
