Soldarini Hydropsyche Sensor XUL Euronymph Single Handed Fly Rod

Fly rods from Soldarini Fly Tackle in Italy are developed in close collaboration with successful competition anglers from across Europe. These special rods, born out of years of experience in international championships on rivers and lakes, offer many advantages for everyday fishing as well. They are characterized by tremendous lightness and stability, and offer a very good price-performance ratio.

The new Hydropsyche Sensor XUL Euro Nymph Fly Rods offer a completely new level of sensitivity when fishing with modern nymphing techniques. Upon first touch, it becomes immediately clear: this rod series is unique in terms of lightness, balance, and sensitivity. Specifically designed for ultra-fine Euro nymphing, components, blank taper, and construction have been optimized with a primary focus on maximizing sensitivity while casting and, most importantly, while fishing.

The innovative feature of this rod: it comes with two different tip sections! To ensure the most sensitive bite detection and precision under various situations, two interchangeable tip sections are included: a 'normal' tip and a full carbon tip, which provides the necessary finesse especially when casting and fishing with the finest micro-nymphs. This allows you to adjust the sensitivity of the rod to your individual fishing situation depending on the type of water, water level, time of year, or time of day.

In addition to the two different fine tips, the overall medium-fast blank, thanks to the use of the latest nano-resins, offers improved durability despite its extremely light weight. The blank is also unsanded to preserve the original carbon structure and prevent fine mono lines from 'sticking' to the blank when wet. Attention has also been paid to reducing weight of the guides to minimize the influence on the blank action. The fine single-foot guides, placed extra close together, also prevent slack of the thin nymphing lines. Along the blank, small markers have been incorporated into the wrappings at three positions (20, 30, and 40 cm) to quickly and gently measure the caught fish. The EVA grip with composite cork reinforcements not only provides great tactile feedback but also gives the rod a modern and individual look. The CNC-machined, down-locking skeleton-style reel seat with carbon insert is equipped with an exclusive carbon fighting butt and shifts the weight backward to make fishing with an outstretched arm more comfortable.
