Vision Custom DH Double Handed Fly Rod

With the Vision Custom DH series, the cult brand from Finland is setting new standards. Different rivers or water levels require different two-handed fishing techniques, not only in terms of line selection but ideally also in the choice of rods and their action. Vision understands this and introduces a range of specific actions and lengths with the Custom DH rods.

The Vision Custom DH Two-Hand Fly Rod series doesn't just differ in length and rod class; each of these rods has a tailored action for the type of fishing where the class is most commonly used. The action of these four-piece rods is a powerful medium to medium-fast action (depending on the model), which allows the carbon rods to perform brilliantly on their own. Additionally, the AAAA Portuguese cork feels exceptional in hand, allowing you to handle the matte gray blank with ease. Serving as both an optical highlight and for enhanced durability, the EVA finishes at the bottom of the handle, also adorned with the Vision logo. To balance the rods perfectly, a down-locking reel seat, almost standard, has been used, equipped with two locking nuts to secure the reel in place. Two stripping guides, along with the other snake guides held under the minimalist wraps and the red decorative wraps, complete the picture of these unique two-handed rods perfectly.

  • Custom Trout Spey Rods
These lightweight two-handed rods, reminiscent of switch rods, are designed especially for two-handed fishing for trophy trout, sea trout, or smaller salmon. Despite the light blanks, they have strong power reserves in the lower blank to cast compact Skagit lines with sink tips.
    11'3" #4 Baby Spey
    11'6" #5 Streamer Spey
  • Custom Switch Rod
The perfect compromise between single and double-handed rods. It can be operated both with one hand and in spey-style, allowing for maximum flexibility on the water, whether targeting salmon, sea trout, or other predatory fish.
    11' #7 Switch
  • Custom DH Allround Rods
The name says it all - these three rod models are the perfect all-rounders, covering a wide range of river sizes and seasons in the two-handed realm. The action of the rods has also been designed to cater to a very broad spectrum of line types and casting styles.
    13' #8 Hybrid
    14' #9 General Practitioner
    15' #10 Kojamo
  • Custom DH Skagit Rods
These rods have been equipped with a slightly deeper action, favoring the casting of compact, heavier Skagit-style shooting heads. Heavy tips and weighted flies are thus no problem. Perfect for fishing in adverse conditions, whether targeting steelhead, salmon, or hucho.
    13'3" #8 Hammer
    13'6" #10 Sledgehammer
  • Custom DH Magnum Rod
Quite simply, this rod is the perfect tool for big water and big fish. A weapon when it comes to casting long distances and perfect for starting the season with heavy sink lines.
    16'6" #11 Raiwo Spey

In short: The Vision Custom Double Hand Rods are perfectly tailored to their respective purposes. From the Danish meadow streams to the large, well-known rivers in Sweden and Norway. From sea trout to giant salmon, each with the perfectly matched action.
