Vision Hero fly reels have a silky smooth but powerful disc brake, consisting of a total of five discs made of carbon and stainless steel. The spool has a simple and quick screw cap and can be easily converted to right-handed operation if needed. The size and weight of the Hero Daddy fly reels are matched to line classes #7 to #9 and a short belly Pike line including sufficient backing is easily stored. The chic green finish with yellow lettering appeals not only to Pike anglers and sets a nice color accent on the fishing water. The knob made of non-slip EVA provides very good grip even in wet and nasty weather and allows the controlled retrive up of the line. The CNC-machined die-cast frame is extremely robust and durable.
