Virarelli Semi-Automatic Euronymph Fly Reel

The Virarelli semi-automatic Euronymph fly reel is a graphite cast fly reel that weighs only 114g despite the lever, making it a real lightweight for fine fishing. The mechanical parts are made of bronze and stainless steel, making the mechanically gear system for winding very robust and durable. The brake of the Virarelli is adjusted once with a key, which is included in the scope of delivery. Instructions for adjusting the braking force are also included.
A semi-automatic fly reel can spool up several meters of fly line or monofilament line in a matter of seconds using only your rod hand! By simply pressing the lever, the spool is accelerated and winds up a few meters of fly line. With just a few pulls of the lever, you can wind up 10 meters or more at lightning speed. This is particularly advantageous when nymph fishing if you want to prevent the fine mono line from getting caught in the river. A quick pull on the lever while fishing is all it takes to spool the excess line up to the reel. When fishing with a normal fly line, however, a semi-automatic reel pays off equally well. For example, on heavily overgrown streams where you often have to wade out of the water and get a few meters back into the water. Simply accelerate the spool three to four times before wading out and the entire fly line is spooled up!
