A quick pull on the lever while fishing is all it takes to spool the excess line up to the reel. When fishing with a normal fly line, however, a semi-automatic reel pays off equally well. For example, on heavily overgrown streams where you often have to wade out of the water and get a few meters back into the water. Simply accelerate the spool three to four times before wading out and the entire fly line is spooled up!
The semi-automatic fly reel has a generous large arbor design, which on the one hand ensures that the line is picked up quickly and on the other hand that the monofilament lines do not curl so quickly. The timeless fly reel also has a ceramic line outlet, making it virtually impossible for the fine, monofilament nymph line to be damaged. The braking force can be adjusted in micrometric steps via the knob and thus optimally adapted to the fish.
