Single-use plastic has been completely avoided even in the smallest parts. The new Guideline NOVA Cassette Fly Reel is not only a thoroughly sustainable product but also a powerful addition to the product range. It succeeds the widely popular FAVO Fly Reel and is thus positioned in a very affordable price segment. Additionally, the Cassette of the Nova Fly Reel offers the possibility to be extremely flexible on the water, as the fly reel comes with two additional Nova spare spools. This means that a total of 3 spools are available, which can be equipped with different line classes or sink rates.

Technically, the reel performs at a very high level: The frame design made from recycled aluminum was constructed in a way that reduced weight with the components used. The Nova Cassette also saves additional weight, as the spools of the cassette variant are made from Polymer - PCR (Post-Consumer-Resins). The special spoke design of the spool plays an important role, as the fine cross braces not only look modern and futuristic but also reduce weight while increasing structural integrity. Inside the reel lies a powerful carbon drag system, which is perfectly calibrated to the respective area of application depending on the reel size. Thus, the lighter line classes are tuned for finesse, while the larger reels deliver more braking power. Through some technical improvements inside the brake, the braking pressure can be kept even more constant to optimally protect your leaders during a fight.
