*1Galvan reels convince with the latest technology, without losing sight of the traditional and old proven of a fly reel. Because Galvan believes that in an industry where technology often overshadows tradition, a blend of both is the best option for a high quality, functional fly reel.
The Galvan Rush Lite is a further development of the Rush fly reel existing since 2005. The Rush light was again minimized with elaborate calculations in weight, but it has not lost its well-known robustness. The Rush fly reel is the workhorse from Galvan. A reel whose brake system is just as resistant as the whole construction of the cage and the spool. Who demands hard use from a reel, will not be disappointed by the Rush. A fall down on the river, blows when boating as well as an extremely hard use when fishing are absolutely no problem for the stable Rush fly reel. The brake system of the Rush Light is the proven, strong brake system of the Torque and also has the PBR technology, which allows an extremely accurate adjustment of the brake and remains in position as long as we want. The system is based on a disc brake made of thermoplastic and carbon and is virtually maintenance-free due to the latest technology. The same applies to the inner race of the roller, because here not as usual a ball bearing was installed, but a state-of-the-art High Pressure Velocity plastic bushing. The bushing completely replaces the bearing and has the great advantage that it cannot rust and rotates almost frictionless. Fishing in the rain or even immersion in the water is thus unproblematic in contrast to some other reels.
The Rush light is one of the lightweights in terms of construction but one of the tough dogs when it comes to stability, whether frame or braking system. Who is looking for a faithful, durable companion, and that permanently, the Galvan Rush Lite is exactly right - at the creek, lake or coast!
Technologies
- Maximum Porting
Maximum Porting at Galvan stands for perfection from two worlds! Minimum weight with maximum stability. Galvan attaches great importance to the robustness and stability of a fly reel, but also knows that in today's world this does not always have to be heavy constructions. With the latest CAD technology and precise calculations, any unnecessary weight that does not contribute to the function or stability of the reel is removed! - L.A.D
Large Arbor Design. A fast line pick-up is a crucial point in the drill, when you have to get the slack line onto the reel in the shortest possible time in a controlled manner. At the same time, of course, the reel must not be too big or too heavy, so Galvan always finds a good compromise with precise calculations. - Low-Cof
Galvan's Low-Cof technology is based on the brake system and ensures that the start-up resistance of the brake is extremely gentle during pull-off. This has the ingenious advantage that even the thinnest leaders do not break when a fish flees. - EZ-Grab
The EZ-Grab design of the Galvan reel handles has a concave shape that thickens outward. The advantage of this shape is that when cranking hard, the guide hand cannot slip outward and you keep the upper hand in the drill. - MicroTune
The brake's microTune adjustment system features a single ball bearing that meets small dimples machined into the reel frame to hold the desired brake setting securely in place. The comfortably felt indentations allow for the finest incremental adjustment of the brake and reduce the likelihood of accidental adjustment while fishing. - R-Retrieve
Easily and quickly change from left to right hand without the use of tools. - T2
All of our reels and spools are T2 type anodized with minimal material contact points making them corrosion resistant and saltwater safe. - TruBalance
The weight of the counterweight is perfectly balanced with the weight of the handle to ensure smooth spool retrieval and wobble-free rotation.
