Two great pieces of news from Iceland that excite us! First, Einarsson and NAM, two outstanding manufacturers known for their exceptional quality, have joined forces. And second, the sizes of the Einarsson reels have been successfully optimized, in our opinion. Additionally, for fans of fully enclosed reels, there's now the Solid Model one of the popular Einarsson reels with a completely closed back, offering a unique, classic, yet modern look at the same time
The Einarsson Plus Fly Reel has long been a popular reel with a timeless design and very high quality. Together with NAM, this quality is, of course, maintained at a very high level, so the reels continue to impress us. The design of the reel is not only unmistakable, but it is also thoughtfully planned, making the reels very lightweight without losing stability. This stability is supported, for example, by the full frame construction, and the closed backside, which ensures that the reel can be loaded to the maximum with large fish. But even in fine trout fishing, the closed cage shows its advantages, as the thin mono lines used in nymphing or running lines cannot escape from the fly reel. There has also been a small change to the carbon drag system, which can be adjusted very smoothly. The drag knob is now easier to grip and adjust, as its diameter has been increased slightly. In our opinion, this also looks much better with the reels. Finally, the fly reel features a high-quality, durable Type III anodized finish that protects the reel's aluminum and gives it its color. All components are manufactured and assembled at Einarsson. Only the carbon drag disc, the bearing, and the seals are sourced from carefully selected manufacturers in Germany. The special lightweight construction and materials give it incredible stability for a lifetime of extremely hard use. We are glad to finally be able to offer these reels again!
5 Plus
The 5Plus from Einarsson is the ideal reel for rods in the 4-7 class. Whether for trout fishing in streams with a dry fly rod, a Euro nymph, or a light trout spey, the 5Plus has a very versatile range and extends up to #6 or #7 for sea trout fishing. WF6 + 100m 20lbs
7 Plus
Weighing only 198g, the 7Plus is lightweight despite its size. The reel is ideal for single-handed rods in the #7-#8 class for pike or sea trout fishing. However, the drag is so powerful that it can also be used in the tropics without any problem. Additionally, the 7Plus can be used on lighter double-handed rods for salmon fishing. WF7 + 135m 20lbs
8 Plus
The 8Plus is the perfect reel for double-handed rods from 12.6ft to 14ft in the #7 - #9 classes. It is also suitable for heavy single-handed rods from class #9. WF9 + 150m 30lbs
