Orvis Hydros Bank Short 10' Sinktip Flyline

The Hydros Bank Short fly line with sink tip from Orvis is a fly line with a fast sinking tip for a wide range of applications. On the river, the short-spooled line can be used to bring your streamer to depth despite strong currents - and keep it there. On larger waters or when fishing for pike, huchen and the like, it can be used to release bushy or weighted flies without empty casts and pull them into the fishy zone. This is made possible by a short head of only approx. 7 m in length and a sinking tip of approx. 3 m.

 

Thanks to its compact taper, the Orvis Bank Shot effectively loads modern, fast rods. This line is suitable for different casting styles and, in addition to long overhead casts, harmonizes particularly well with single-handed spey and roll casts. The coating is three-colored and offers special discretion in the front part due to its dark coloring. The rear part is orange for better visibility. This line is based on Orvis' patented Integrated Slickness technology, which gives the coating a special suppleness and shoots through the rings almost without friction. A big bonus for distance hunters! All models are provided with the Orvis Line ID for better and quicker identification of the line. Welded loops at both ends allow leaders to be changed quickly. The smooth coating has a monofilament core that delivers optimum performance in all local temperatures.
