The Rio Blitz is a modern fly line with an ultra-compact head, measuring just 7.9 meters (26 feet). This makes it especially well-suited for quickly delivering bushy or large flies, or streamers, to the target with minimal effort and very few false casts. Rio's Multi-Density Control ensures that you maintain a direct connection to the fly, enabling you to set the hook immediately when a fish strikes. What's particularly exciting about this line is that it combines three sink rates: Float/Hover/Intermediate. This allows you to fish just below the surface in many typical situations and get your streamer exactly to the depth where predators prefer to lie in wait for their prey.
