Nextcast Seatrout Single Handed Fly Line intermediate

The various shooting heads and tips from Nexcast are already very popular among salmon and sea trout anglers because they are extremely modern, easy to cast, and perfectly designed for their respective applications in terms of design and sink behavior. After two years of intensive development, Nexcast now presents its first single-hand fly line, the Intermediate Sea Trout.

Although the Nextcast Sea Trout single handed intermediate fly line is the first complete fly line from Nexcast, you can hardly tell when casting. Its design as an integrated shooting head allows for long casts with minimal effort and an already integrated running line. This shoot-ready construction makes casting a pleasure, as the Nextcast Sea Trout single-hand fly line loads the fly rods optimally with just a few false casts and shoots very easily and far, both with and against the wind.

The sea trout line is specifically designed for coastal fishing. The 10.05-meter-long head is ideal for getting the most out of a line in both light and strong winds. This length provides high line stability in light winds, preventing line slap, and is short enough to be easily cast even in strong winds. The sink behavior of the intermediate line is perfectly suited to most coastal conditions. It has a classic intermediate sink rate, slowly and evenly sinking into the upper water layer, ensuring that the line remains under the waves and maintains direct contact with the fly. This ensures that sea trout can always see the fly during retrieval, and strikes can be optimally set. The perfect depth control of the fly results in more strikes, and the direct contact with the fly improves strike conversion.

The Nexcast Intermediate Fly Line for sea trout is just as shoot-ready as the manufacturer's shooting heads. It also features a durable PU coating with a light texture for reduced friction in the guides and perfect sinking behavior for coastal fishing. Even with their first fly line, Nexcast has truly thought of everything to create the perfect line for coastal applications.
