Winston Trout Energy Fly Line
Winston Energy trout lines do a competent job when fishing for trout and grayling in cold water. In order to be up to this task Energy trout lines have been equipped with a high floating stealthy 10ft tip section. That allows you present your fly unnoticed even to spooky fish. Moreover the high floatation enables you to pick up line with minimum splash. The stealthy putty colored line tip is also less suspicious for the fish when casting. Unlike the tip section the belly and running line are held in hi-vis chartreuse helping you to track the drift and to place mending’s when needed. In order to make sure that the Energy Trout line stays smooth even under cold conditions it features a subtle fresh water core which additionally helps you to protect thin tippets when fighting big fish.
Winston Energy Trout lines are available in the classes’ #2 to #6 and come with welded loops on both ends. Like all Winston Energy lines the trout series has a line weight marking printed on the tip of the line.
