Vision Stillmaniac Fly Line

Especially for fishing in still waters, i.e. domestic lakes, reservoirs, the holiday water of your choice or the endless water systems of Scandinavia, Vision has designed a WF line with different sink rates, which has a 13 m long head and a total length of 33 m. The special taper makes long casts possible even for less experienced fly fishers and when the action is not right at your feet, long casts are inevitable. A choice of different sink rates lets you decide how fast you want to get to depth. The front end of the Stillmaniac fly line is fitted with a tippet ring so that leaders can be tied in a flash, a small but ingenious detail we think. Visions Coating is phthalate-free, extremely smooth and envelops a low-stretch core, which allows direct contact with the fish.

The different sink rates of the lines of the models, SloMo, Fast Intermediate, Sink 3 and Sink 5 are only defined by an imprint on the front end of the line. Vision has deliberately avoided colour-coding of these individual lines in order to enable competition anglers and other discreet companions to fish at a rate that does not reveal a single sink rate.

Fishing in still waters is a fantastic discipline, if you want to be prepared for all events and are looking for casting distance and variable sink rates, you are doing everything right!
