In modern nymph fishing with a high rod and short line, so-called Euro-nymphing (e.g. Czech-, French-nymphing), a conventional line structure, as with weight forward lines or double-tapers, is not of much use. On the contrary, the thinner the line, the better the nymph can be guided in a free drift and even the finest takes are passed on to the angler more quickly due to the lower line mass.

The Tactical Nymph Fly Line from Soldarini has a slim diameter of only 0.55 mm. This makes this level line just about perfect for all modern nymphing techniques - whether on the river at home or at international fly fishing championships. The taper is parallel throughout, i.e. the diameter remains constant over the entire line length of 90ft. (approx. 27 m).

Although this line has been optimised for fine nymph fishing, you can also use it for very delicate dry fly presentations at short distances. In case you fish with a fine rod! The discreet presentation is further enhanced by the subtle colour of the Nano Slick coating. And if the front part of the line wears out, you can simply turn it over. Another advantage of a Level Line! In short: a very thin and ultra-light (nymph) line that hardly dips when the rod is lifted and thus ensures maximum fly control and very accurate bite detection. Tip: This line is supplied without welded loops. There is a good reason for this! Because with these ultra-thin lines the leader is best knotted on directly to create an optimal transition to the leader - e.g. with a nail knot.
