The latest generation of the popular Rio OutBound Short is here! The perfect line when it comes to quickly loading your rod with few false casts. The Outbound Short has been an absolute favorite among predator anglers for many years and rightly so, because the compact taper loads your rod effortlessly even with large, bushy and weighted flies.

In the low classes, this line is perfect for trout fishing with heavier streamers, for deep wading on the river or for the low seating position on the belly boat. In strong winds on the coast, you can still get distance with the short belly and can transport your shrimp flies towards the horizon. In the higher classes, the line is an absolute favorite when fishing for pike, zander, catfish and co. Because within the compact head, the weight is shifted forward, which provides a strong turn-over effect to easily transport massive flies to their target. A perfect predator line in fact!

What we like most about the new Premier Outbound is that not only does it come in many different sinking rates that cover all areas of use, the density is graduated along the length of the line for even more control thanks to Multi Density Control (3D) technology.

The compact head quickly transitions into the smooth running line, which has incredibly good shooting characteristics thanks to the ultra-smooth SlickCast coating. In practice, this allows particularly long casts with very few false casts or in limited backspace. In confined areas, on sheet pile walls, reed belts, with dense bank vegetation or on urban canals, this property comes in incredibly handy.

Floating: The floating version of the Premier Outbound Short is particularly suitable for fishing on top or just below the surface. We especially like to fish this line when we want to offer our fly to a maximum water depth of 1m (or shallower). The line is also perfect for fishing with poppers and other surface flies, as it does an excellent job of delivering the often chunky flies.
