Thanks to the contrasting belly, this floating line makes it even easier, especially for beginners, to load the rod optimally and to find the perfect timing for letting the line shoot. About the Triangle Taper:
The Triangle Taper J3 from Lee Wulff is legendary and is one of the most famous fly lines - and has been for very many decades. No line has influenced the development of modern WF lines as much as this model, which is therefore also called the Lee Wulff legacy for good reason.
The special feature of this classic is its short head with the long tapered front. This makes the line very universal and it can be quickly put to distance with all casting styles. Overhead it behaves like a shooting head, but thanks to the fine tip, gentle presentations are also possible. With water casts such as switch casts and roll casts, the weight shifted to the back pays off and you will be amazed at the distances that can be achieved with little back space! The enormous shooting performance is supported by the smooth J3 coating, which has not only been treated on the surface, but itself contains components that are still effective even after long use.
For us, the Lee Wulff Triangle Taper J3 is without doubt one of the best all-round lines. Due to its very special taper, this line can be used to cast both fine dry flies and weighted predator streamers without any problems. You can use this line to fish for just about any target fish in our local waters. There are nearly no limits to this line!
