The Long Belly from Lee Wulff is a hot pick for all fly fishers aiming for a clean presentation over medium and longer distances. The special feature of this floating line is a combination of the proven Triangle Taper, for which Lee Wulff has become so well known, and a classic Double Taper (DT). On the first 9 m, the mass in the taper increases smoothly and is completed by an extra portion of weight in the transition to the shot-friendly, thin running line. This makes both long roll casts and powerful switch casts very easy - and of course, accurate and stable overhead casts at long distances are a piece of cake. Due to its very special taper, this line can be used to cast both fine dry flies and weighted patterns without any problems. On big rivers the line gives you full control and allows controlled, clean casting and mending. On the lake, on the other hand, you can reach your target fish far from the shore even with long nymph rigs.
