The head is only 6.5 meters long and suitable for distances from the shoe tip to 15-20 meters, depending on casting style. The main part of the head consists of a continuous front taper ending in a short rear taper. This 'triangular' shape makes it very easy to handle the line. To create stability in overhead casts, the Brook WF is equipped with a handling zone of approximately 1.75 meters in length, tapering towards the running line. This slows down the turnover of dry flies, nymphs, or streamers slightly, ensures better balance, and enables good presentation at medium distances. The head is very discreet and white, while the handling zone and running line are highly visible in yellow. The transition between white and yellow is perfectly set to perform switch and roll casts. Of course, the Brook WF is equipped with clean loops at both ends for quickly and easily changing your leader. The smooth coating is free of phthalates, which are known as toxic plasticizers in conventional PVC lines. The line is supplied with a spool and box made from recycled materials - for which we give a big thumbs up!
