Scientific Anglers Booby Tip polyleaders have been specifically designed for fishing booby flies or other floating patterns on sinking lines close to bottom. The polyleader connects to the tip of your sinking lines and suspends the fly above the bottom - with every strip it will dive and tentalizingly rise up on each pause. Via the length of the leader or tippet you can adjust the distance of the fly to the substrate. Booby Tips can also be used in combination with unweighted nymphs, wetflies or buzzers to be fished slowly or stationary close bottom - especially when waterdepth makes using floating lines useless.
