The InTouch MOW Tips Long from Rio are interchangeable tips with a length of 15 ft (4.57 m). Very powerful tips designed for casting large or heavy salmon flies. Ideal for skagit fishing for Pacific salmon or when fishing for Atlantic salmon with voluminous patterns - for example when water levels are high.
These LONG MOW Tips are perfect for Spey rods of 13 feet and over and for casters who find the regular Rio MOW Tips too short to set a clean anchor. All Long MOW Tips are built on RIO's ConnectCore for extremely low elongation performance. Another special feature of Rio InTouch MOW Tips is that each tip has two different sections: A floating section and a sinking section. Here you can choose how long you want each section to be and thus influence the depth and run of your salmon fly. The range of 6 interchangeable tips goes from Full Float to Full Sinking.
The MOW Heavy Tips correspond to a T-14 tip and work best with shooting heads between 575 grain (ca. 37 g) and 650 grain (ca. 42 g). Each MOW Heavy Tip weighs 210 grain (approx. 13.6 g).
