Shilton Shock Leader
The Shilton Shock Leaders are the result of years of research and the endeavor to meet the demands of professional guides in tropical saltwater conditions. The material is a hard, abrasion-resistant monofilament. Monofilament is easier to knot and has a higher breaking strength than fluorocarbon. Additionally, this hard mono is particularly robust against abrasion, such as from corals, stones, or fish teeth. The material has good energy transfer, making it easier to cast bulky predator flies into the wind.
The generous 50m spools have a particularly large diameter. This not only prevents memory but also allows for the attachment of tippet material within reach, for example, on a backpack or waist pack. Very practical!
