Stroft Color Leader Material Indicator Line Sighter 100 m/Spool fluo yellow

Stroft Color is an ideal nylon to tie your own nymphing leaders! Due to its slight stretching nature, it can perfectly be combined with thin tippets - without fearing the loss of a big fish during the fight. The biggest advantage of the fluo yellow-colored monofilament lies in its high visibility. Especially modern nymphing techniques (e.g. 'French Nymphing') rely on recognizing the most subtle takes and impulse on the leader - even in bad light conditions. Stroft Color can easily be seen anytime, anywhere thanks to its high contrast.

You can either use the leader material to tie a whole nymph leader with three pieces of different diameters or you combine a shorter piece (1m 0.25mm) with your ordinary nymph leader and sighter. The most simple nymph leader is a non-tapered leader of 0.25mm Stroft Color. Whatever your favorite solution is: a blood knot is the best way to knot the different parts (see video below).
