Nextcast Core16 F1 Shooting Head Floating/Intermediate

The shooting head systems from NEXTCAST are becoming increasingly popular. Especially among ambitious salmon and steelhead anglers, a true hype has been ignited in recent years around the well though-out shooting heads. We have also learned to love the adapted, user-friendly tapers and let the terrific casting characteristics put a smile on our faces every time. In addition to the very popular two-handed shooting heads and the matching tips and running lines, the extensive collection also includes very successful lines for modern streamer fishing for trout. We especially like the fact that you can definitely find the right line for every casting style and water condition in the Nextcast range.

The Nextcast Core series is designed for very specific situations where more power is needed in the cast. For example, for casting heavy sink tips, heavy flies where more "turn-over" is needed, or simply when there is particularly little backspace. The Core shooting heads are extra compact and effectively charge the rod in the tightest of spaces.  In order for these Skagit lines to work well, they must be complemented with an appropriate tip, only then will you end up with the appropriate length to anchor the line properly. Unlike many other Skagit heads on the market, the Nextcast Core lines can also be cast delicately with the respective tip. So it's not just a "rough" means to an end, but a powerful all-purpose weapon.

Core16:
The Core16 shooting heads are the shortest double-handed lines from the Nextcast range. They are especially suitable for all situations where you need maximum power, maximum "turn-over" with little backspace. They also give you the ability to carry very heavy sinking tips and flies. Sinktips in 15-18 ft. length up to T20 can be transported well with the lines and offer user-friendly handling even in challenging water conditions.

Note: This line should be combined with a tip for ideal performance. Therefore, the final casting weight is made up of body + tip.
