The fly brilliantly imitates the natural prey of these saltwater predators, with the colored tail at the end of the fly serving as a real "trigger point" for them. However, the Boom Box Baitfish isn't just a secret weapon for roosters; it also catches all kinds of freshwater and saltwater predators, such as zander or pike, just as effectively. The slightly translucent fly is tied on a sturdy saltwater hook, size #4/0, and measures approximately 12 cm in total length – the perfect size for our local predators too! Additionally, the tying method and use of minimal material is ideal for the fly's action. While some baitfish patterns use too much material and appear stiff, the proportions of the Boom Box Baitfish are 100% spot-on, making it look incredibly realistic underwater – a pattern that should not be missing from any streamer box!
