The adh sea trout fly - Grey Prey is an ingenious streamer with an incredible flexibility. On the one hand, the heavy double eyes ensure that the fly stops and sinks strongly at each strip stop, and then shoots forward again when you pull the fly line. On the other hand, the ingeniously tied antitangle tail made of extremely fine material plays another big role in the lively play in the water. This combination is extremely seductive for the sea trout. In addition, the colors of the fly were chosen to resemble several food of sea trout, such as the goby, a stickleback or even a sand shrimp. The Redhead is one of the best all-around flies for sea trout, all year round!

"The Grey Prey is the lighter double of my standard fly, the Brown Prey. It shares the same positive attributes: a natural appearance, slim and unobtrusive form, and lively action. This color variation evolved over time and the desire for a standard fly for clear water. This is also its primary area of use: fast fishing in clear water. Even relatively inactive fish respond well to the natural presentation of this variant. One has to see this fly in the water to understand why it catches so well. Like its brown counterpart, it doesn't mimic a specific prey item but rather the entire group of gray, medium-sized trout food – and it does so convincingly. Even when the trout are in sandeel mode, this fly works very well. I believe that over the past five years, I've caught most of my trout with this fly – including a few leapers; this color combination definitely has big fish potential."
