The flies from The Fly Emporium are created in close collaboration with passionate fly fishers and professional fly tiers – with a clear focus on outstanding quality and precise craftsmanship. These flies are made exclusively with premium materials and the proven high-quality hooks from Fasna, which we also use at our own tying bench. The patterns in the Competition Series have been tested thousands of times in international competitions and come straight from the fly boxes of some of the most successful competition anglers. They are so effective that we simply had to include them in our selection – and we confidently tie them to our own leaders as well!
The Perfect Worm is one of the most effective patterns in the wide range of flies offered by The Fly Emporium. This nymph imitates a worm – a pattern that has become increasingly popular in the fly boxes of Euro Nymphing anglers in recent years. And for good reason! Whether in high, murky water or under perfect conditions: a worm always works! This version is tied on a barbless Fasna Jig hook and equipped with a high-quality tungsten bead. This allows the fly to sink quickly into the strike zone and be effectively fished even in strong currents. The material used for the tail and body is extremely durable, meaning you can fish the Perfect Worm much longer than comparable patterns from other manufacturers. At the same time, it provides the enticing movement in the water that you know from the Squirmy Worm.
