Roza's Red Devil Jig from Fulling Mill is a modern nymph, as it is typically used in Euro Nymphing. It is tied to a slim jig hook and thanks to a tungsten bead (2.8 mm) this pattern quickly reaches the fishy zone - even in strong currents. The slim, dark body in combination with the soft CDC hackle provides a natural look and appeals to both trout and grayling. One of the favourite nymphs of multiple world champion Lubos Roza for rivers with fine, sandy bottom and for sections with many stones. Apart from that, this nymph is one of the best all-round patterns for waters with a good stock of mayflies.
Tip: These nymphs are most effectively fished on long (10ft. or 11ft.) and sensitive (#2 or #3) rods with a stretched, thin leader.
