The Hare's Ear is without doubt one of the classics among the classic nymph patterns. Whether caddis, mayfly or small freshwater shrimp, this fly pattern imitates a wide variety of underwater creatures at the same time and should therefore not be missing in any box. We particularly like to fish this variation with a gold tungsten head and fluo-orange collar. Thanks to the additional bite point, it is easily recognized and taken by fish even in turbulent water or in poor visibility conditions.
