The Special Brown CDC & Elk Caddis combines two very popular wing materials. On the one hand finest CDC and on the other hand the hollow hairs of a wapiti deer. This combination makes the caddis fly look real and float high. Tied on a barbless hook with brown dubbing, the fly is not only extremely effective, but also gentle on the fish. This special pattern is a fly that has been tested throughout the year, proving exceptionally good catches. For additional floatation, we recommend to apply some floatant on the body of the fly.
