The Renaelva (Rena) is a tributary of the Glomma and is known for its first-class stock of strong Grayling. And that is where this Caddis (or Sedge) imitation originated. This imitation of a caddis fly is beautifully tied with a wing of synthetic antron and a diffuse hackle. This gives it a very realistic silhouette and will outwit even the smartest and biggest Grayling in the current. Of course, this dry fly also works excellently on Brown Trout - because caddis flies are also at the top of the menu for Trout.
