Once named after the inventor Hans v. Klinken, there are now many variations of the original Klinkhammer. Developed in collaboration with Superflies, this Klinkhammer Olive has a particularly sparse body and has often been able to convince particularly cautious fish to take after other flies had been ignored. When trout and grayling only rise selectively and take deep-seated mayflies on the surface, a Klinkhammer dry fly is just the ticket! This olive-colored variant is an absolute must, especially in our part of the world, as mayflies from the Beatis family are found in almost all running waters. Thanks to the horizontal hackle, these parachute patterns drift shallower and outwit even the shyest fish. The highly visible poly yarn not only improves buoyancy but also makes it easier to spot bites in fast water or in low light conditions.
