Guideline Tubenfliege SG's Orange Flashwing

For the popular Flashwings, the inventor of the series, Steffen Granbo, uses a mix of different flash materials to create the wing. The great proportions of the fly and the portioning of the material provide perfect balance and seductive movement underwater.  All SG Flashwings are tied on US tubes, which give the fly a subtle weighting. This way, the fly starts fishing from the first second in the water. The Flashwing series available in three sizes: 5 cm, 8 cm, 11 cm. This covers the whole spectrum from spring fishing in high and cold water to delicate summer fishing.

The tubes are best fished with a free-swinging hook. To protect the knot in the process, we recommend a hook guide, which you can also use to add a colorful accent.

SG's Orange Flashwing is a popular fly for the start of the season and for high, cloudy or cold water. But even when other flies aren't working at all and the fish need a little "wake-up call," we like to tie on the SG's Orange. Plus, it's a great fall fly to provoke fish that become more aggressive before spawning time.
