*1For several years now, Guideline flies have had a permanent place in our boxes. This is of course due to their outstanding quality and attention to detail, but even more so due to their incredible "fishiness". Because all Guideline flies are designed by renowned fly tyers and have proven themselves countless times on the fishing water.
The Guideline Tube Fly Silvakon is an ideal pattern when the water is tea or beer coloured, but also in clear water and normal conditions the colour selection is perfect, both for salmon and sea trout. It doesn't matter if the fly is offered at the beginning or end of the season, the brown and black materials are a great all-round combination. In the summer months, it is a great tip to guide the fly very quickly to coax the wayward salmon into biting. The Silvakon is tied with a hybrid cone and little material, the best prerequisites for getting the fly to depth quickly. In addition to countless rivers in Sweden and Norway, this technique is also successful on Danish systems such as Skjern or Varde!
