The Frödin Flies Tube Fly Pig Series - Pahta is a hybrid of various highly successful salmon flies. It's a mix of Frances and Potbelly Pig, if you will. The Pig Pahta tube fly can be fished all year round and is particularly effective when the water is tea-colored or slightly brownish. Thanks to the FITS conehead and its slim profile, the fly sinks quickly. It is perfect for deep pools and/or cold water. Especially in deep holding pools where the water flows slowly and heavily, this fly can deliver big surprises when presented deep with a sinking line (also works well with a jigging action). The fluorescent colors are highly visible even in murky conditions, and the fluorescent tips of the boar bristles add a special accent.
