Vision New Zealand Strike Indicator

This strike indicator system was originally developed in New Zealand for disrkete nymph fishing for ultra shy, large Brown Trout. But the strike indicator made of feather-light wool is also very popular in Europe and is used with preference for Trout and Grayling. With the tool included in the delivery, it is child's play to mount the indicator on your leader. Simply thread the leader with the needle through the silicone tube and place the yarn in the loop of the leader. Then pull on both ends of the leader so that the silicone tube slides over the yarn. Now you can cut the yarn to the desired size. For small nymphs and calm currents, you can cut the wool back a lot. For choppy, fast water and heavy patterns, on the other hand, you need more buoyancy and should only cut the yarn slightly. Of course, the strike indicator can be adjusted to bring the nymphs to the right depth. And if you want to switch to a dry fly, the New Zealand Strike Indicator can be quickly removed from the leader. Don't forget to put awaythe silicone tube. It can be reused later.
