Sondergaard Belly Boat Stripping Basket black
The Sondergaard Belly Boat Stripping Basket is the larger sibling of the classic ECoastal line basket. With its practical box shape, this model is particularly suitable for fishing from a belly boat or pontoon boat. Thanks to the included detachable belt, you can also wear the line basket in the traditional way around your waist and use it for fishing from the shore or wading for pike, sea trout, and more.
Also very practical are the 4 holes in the bottom of the line basket, which support the swift draining of water from the basket. Additionally, the front edge of the line basket is slightly raised, reducing overall water ingress. The line basket is made of thick, sturdy foam that provides strong buoyancy in the water, allowing the line basket to float like a cork. Unlike comparable models, the components of this line basket are not simply glued together but fused together, providing more stability and ultimately a longer lifespan. Apart from the high-quality construction, the line shoots out smoothly thanks to 28 elastic 'spikes' and is neatly laid when stripping. With a length of approximately 7 cm, the spikes on this model are slightly longer than those on the standard Sondergaard line basket. A rod rest completes the package of useful features and becomes particularly important during the hand landing of a large fish (whether pike or sea trout).
The Sondergaard Belly Boat line basket is a very well-thought-out tool for fishing from a belly boat. Its flexible foam material makes laying the line much more pleasant than with other models on the market made of conventional hard plastic. But the large line basket is also recommended for wading! Especially when you need a little more space for line storage. It is clear that passionate anglers were at work in the development of this product.
