To prevent the spools from rattling when hiking or wading, they are additionally secured with two rubber washers so that the spools are held tightly together and not loosely. The Umpqua ZS2 Tippet Holder can be attached with Velcro or two carabiners, so the holder can be attached to any strap or D-ring.
