The latest generation of the popular Black Hole bags has not only been visually redesigned but also includes several functional improvements. Most importantly, all members of the large Black Hole family can now be repaired even more effectively. Each element of a bag can be replaced by the Patagonia service when needed, further enhancing the product range's lifespan. An essential feature for the sustainability of a product!
The Black Hole® Duffel 70L has been designed for extensive and gear-intensive travels, made from 100% recycled exterior material, lining, and webbing, as well as a weather-resistant TPU-film laminate from recycled materials. Like all bags in the Black Hole series, the duffel is Fair Trade Certified™ sewn. With a capacity of 70L, the bag provides ample space for all your equipment and can be carried like a backpack thanks to the padded, removable shoulder straps. The straps can be easily removed when not in use. Top-mounted webbing handles and grab loops at both ends allow for two additional carrying options. The clever carrying system of this bag definitely lives up to the excellent reputation of Patagonia designers, making traveling much more enjoyable!
The padded bottom is weatherproof and reliably protects your gear during transport. The revised material is even more durable, extending the bag's lifespan. The robust, reinforced exterior offers numerous attachment options for additional gear, such as a rod tube. Loading and unloading the main compartment are very convenient with the large U-shaped zipper lid. Two zippered mesh pockets on the inside of the lid provide separate storage for small items, and the zippered external pocket holds items that need to be easily accessible.
All Patagonia bags are known for their attention to detail and outstanding quality, delighting fly fishers worldwide. The Patagonia Black Hole Duffel 70L is no exception – a large travel bag that will accompany you over a long period and in various situations.

In addition to reliable waders, wading jackets and wading boots, Patagonia offers a variety of practice-oriented backpacks and packs. As a co-founder of the "One Percent for the Planet" movement, Patagonia has been donating around 1% of its annual revenue to environmental organisations since 2002. By transferring the entire company shares, this inspiring brand set new standards in terms of sustainability. The “Earth is now our only shareholder” represented by the Patagonia Purpose Trust and the non-profit organisation Holdfast Collective. From now on, all profits – except for the money that is reinvested in the company – will be used to fight the environmental crisis and save the planet.
