Product information "Echo Boost Beach Double Handed Fly Rod"
The ECHO Boost Beach double-handed fly rods are designed for coastal flyfishing off the beach, in deltas or from the shores of big lakes. These rods stand out in situations where long casts have to be perfomed under windy conditions, day in day out. The idea behind designing the ECHO Boost Beach was to provide coastal fisherman with a tool that allows for longer casts with less effort compared to single-handed rods. As a consequence you will be able to make more and longer casts with less sweat, which might catch you more fish in the end of the day. Overseas this rod series is being fished for e.g. sea-run cutties, pink salmon and cohos as well as for striped bass, bluefish and halibut off the coast. Hence, this rod also shines when fishing for european sea trout, seabass and whenever else blind-fishing big water surfaces is the essence. Another advantage in fishing double hand rods off the coast results from the increased length compared two single hand rods. That is, the line is traveling farther over the ground giving the fly less chance to snag or the line to hit water, especially when wading.
The Boost Beach series is available in three line classes: #6 (15g), #7 (17g) and #8 (19g) and the rods length varies between 12ft, 12,1ft and 12.2ft. Boost beach rods have a fast action and the blanks balance perfectly with normal single handed lines. The rods come in a stealthy matte black finish, stainless snake guides and stripping guides are wrapped in black with blue trim wraps.
