The Exist LT is the first reel equipped with the new Airdrive design. The weight reduction of the rotor, spool and bail arm provide an inimitable lightness of rotation of the reel. The Airdrive Shaft also significantly reduces frictional resistance and allows for relaxed and direct cranking. Likewise, line management is greatly enhanced by the combination of the Airdrive Rotor and Airdrive Bail, in concert with the Twist Buster II design, making the reel the most balanced spinning reel Daiwa has ever developed. The Twist Buster II design also includes a MagSealed line roller to be especially prepared for saltwater use.
The monocoque magnesium reel body is manufactured in one piece, eliminating the need to use screws for connection. As a result, the reel body offers more space for a more powerful gear while maintaining the same size. This is one of the key aspects why the reel can combine such a fabulously low weight, with such performance. The proven and robust CNC-milled Tough Digigear gear is being used, which has already proven itself thousands of times.
But the Exist LT convinces not only by a very quiet and low-vibration running, but impresses with excellent robustness and performance. The well-known ATD drag system starts with the lowest resistance and generates a drag force of up to 10 kg, with which even the strongest predatory fish are safely stopped in their escapes.
