With the Spring Creek fly line from Cortland you are well equipped in the crystal clear, high alpine mountain streams.
The 444 Spring Creek is a floating line for the finest presentation on the stream. The thin tip of the front taper lays down cleanly and quietly without startling the fish in the small pools. Likewise, the scaring effect of the line is almost eliminated by the dark colour. The olive is also quite matt and prevents reflection in the blazing sun. The extremely soft coating also remains curl-free even in the low temperatures of the streams. Little things that make this line a great favourite if you are targeting brown trout, char and co. in the clear streams of the mountains. The line is made from a braided nylon multifilament and always gives you good control of the line and a fast bite! The 10.7m head allows you to fish accurately at both short and long distances.
The 444 Spring Creek is our first choice on small streams with shy fish. The muted colour and fine front taper allow for quiet, fine fishing and thanks to the special coating even in icy temperatures in the creek!
