Geoff Anderson 150 WizWool Merino Pants Underwear

The WizWool 150 series by Geoff Anderson includes highly functional underwear that is particularly durable and robust. Like these merino pants. They are slightly thinner than the WizWool 210, but otherwise feature the same advantages.

WizWool 150 consists of two different fabrics that have been specially developed for outdoor activities and perform two different tasks. On the one hand, Wizwool 150 serves to increase comfort by wicking moisture away from the skin. Secondly, it provides lightweight insulation and can therefore be used both as a 1st layer directly on the skin and as a 2nd layer. The basis for this is high-quality merino wool, which is combined with an extremely durable synthetic outer layer. The result: super soft, breathable and odour-resistant garments that offer mild skin contact and unique sweat and heat transport. The flat seam construction reduces garment bulk and prevents irritation when wearing layers.

Each WizWool 150 garment consists of:

  • A Polartec Powergrid Fabric. This is a geometric construction to create targeted contact points with a patented two-component design. The surface absorbs sweat vapour and wicks it away to the outside for efficient evaporation. The grid design also creates open air channels that significantly improve breathability.
  • A SportWool Hybrid Fabric exclusively manufactured by a Danish supplier. A unique and individual product based on The Woolmark Company and their Sportwool trademark. Sportwool offers a surprisingly soft feel against the skin and balanced insulation. The material is odour-resistant, durable and retains warmth even when wet. The stretchy fabric hugs the body and wicks moisture away while increasing durability and elasticity.

All products from the WizWool 150 series by Geoff Anderson belong to the absolute spearhead of outdoor clothing. These are not conventional underwear, but high-end functional clothing and the ideal base layer for all outdoor activities. The WizWool 150 pants are cut close to the body and have an elastic waistband and flat seams for a comfortable fit. We recommend them as a baselayer directly under your waders on milder days, or in combination with thicker fleece trousers as a 1st layer for particularly adverse conditions.
