Guideline W‘s Laerdal Waders

The topic of waders for women has long been a vexed one, but that's over now! The Guideline's Pro-Team women anglers from have stuck their heads together to finally design the perfect wading gear specifically for women. The result: the Laerdal series! Functionality paired with excellent comfort and an ideal fit.

The Laerdal Women Waders combine a very durable 4-layer Nylon Taslan fabric in the lower part with a more flexible 3-layer fabric from the waist up. The rugged leg section is especially abrasion resistant, offering an even higher water column and taking the worry out of climbing or kneeling. The knee areas are articulated so that nothing pinches or tightens even when taking long steps or squatting down. In the bib area, the more flexible fabric gives you even more freedom of movement. The high cut across the chest provides warmth, and the increased breathability perfectly regulates moisture and thermal performance of your insulation layers.

The fit of the pants can be individually adjusted thanks to the new Waist Adjustment System flexible around the waist and without an additional belt. The perfect comfort, especially when still some warming layers are worn under the pants.

For those warm days, on the other hand, you can easily convert the chest in seconds thanks to vertically adjustable Elevator™ suspenders. You'll have waist-high waders in no time. Perfect for the hot summer days and for even more freedom of movement on the upper body!

In addition to the ingenious carrier system, the chest area has other great features to offer: A spacious, weatherproof front pocket stows fly boxes, leader spools and co. (Attention: not completely waterproof). Important tools can be conveniently attached to the tool bar and are always at hand. A smart inner pocket can be conveniently folded out in front of the bib. Cold hands? No problem, in the fleece-lined hand warmer pocket your fingers are warmed up again in no time.

The sustainably produced footies made of Yulex® are perfectly fitted and sit perfectly in the wading boot. Yulex® natural plant-based rubber is the most sustainable and functional solution available, reinforced with a high-density limestone-based sole.

Comfort and freedom of movement are paramount during hours of fishing and long walks. The right size is the most important criterion! Guideline Goes Green!

Guideline not only pays attention to a high level of quality and durability in their products, they also sets an example in terms of sustainability. All main fabrics, buckles and much of the trim are 3rd party bluesign® approved. These Laerdal waders in addition are a fluorocarbon free product. To reduce the use of petroleum-based neoprene, the socks use plant-based Yulex® Natural Rubber from FSC-certified Hevea rubber trees. Yulex® Natural Rubber reduces CO2 emissions by up to 80% compared to conventional neoprene. The rubber is laminated on both sides with recycled polyester and attached with a water-based adhesive. An extremely dense limestone-based rubber is used for the sole of the footie.
